Founded in 2022, the ICTTF was created to preserve, govern and grow the classic forms of table tennis that pre-date the modern sponge-rubber era.
We exist to ensure that sand bat, hard bat, and wood bat table tennis remain living, competitive, and celebrated disciplines worldwide.
The ICTTF operates as a not-for-profit international sports federation. All membership fees and revenue are reinvested into the sport — supporting competitions, development programmes, coaching education, and the NeuroPong training platform.
We work in partnership with national associations, continental federations, and the broader table tennis community to build pathways for players of all ages and skill levels to discover and excel in the classic game.
A world where classic table tennis is practised and respected in every country, with thriving grassroots communities and world-class competitive pathways.
Tradition, Integrity, Inclusion, Excellence. We honour the heritage of the sport while welcoming players from all backgrounds and abilities.
42 member nations, 12,800 registered players, 15+ international events per year, and the NeuroPong digital training platform used in 35 countries.
